Fairfax’s Fall for the Book has announced their full lineup for their 2026 Festival, which runs from October 6th through October 10th, including in-person and online.

Most exciting of all, badass authors Stephen Graham Jones and Celeste Ng will headline the festival, bringing their literary visions of alternate pasts and dystopian futures to GMU’s Harris Theatre.

The week-long festival will host many events around the GMU campus and downtown Fairfax, featuring many other bestselling authors sharing their poetry, thrillers, historical writing, and more, along with a full day of programming for the wee kiddos.

And every Fall for the Book event is 100% free!
