Downtown Fairfax got a facelift last week. The city unveiled artist Bailey Sullivan’s mural, “Fox in the Flowers.”

Sullivan’s mural features native local plants and animals, including what a Fairfax City Economic Development press release calls “Fairfax City’s unofficial mascot, the Fairfax Fox.”

The building sporting the mural houses Marlowe Ink and Senberry Bowls. Fairfax City Economic Development says that they plan many more such murals and renovations to beautify Old Town. Their website includes a map of recent public art projects they have completed.
